Dear Participants of the 4th International Congress of Technology Addiction,
The Turkish Green Crescent Society struggles against dependence on substances such as tobacco, alcohol, and drug by engaging in preventive and rehabilitative public health works; and recently it has been expanding its scope to behavioural addictions such as technology and gambling.
Turkish Green Crescent Society, conducting social and school-based prevention works in the field of technology addiction, will host the 4th International Congress of Technology Addiction on 27-28 November 2017 in Istanbul.
The Congresses of Technology Addiction, previously held by Culture Society and Family Association (KULT) in subsequent years of 2012 and 2013 in Istanbul, had great contributions to raise awareness on the emerging problem of technology addiction.The 3rd International Congress of Technology Addiction was held in 2016 under the leadership of Turkish Green Crescent Society in collaboration with Culture Society and Family Association (KULT) and Ministry of Education.The experiences gained in previous congresses as well as expectations at local and international levels have encouraged us to organize the 4th International Congress of Technology Addiction which is expected to focus on technology addiction from a greater perspective.
I sincerely believe that the 4th International Congress of Technology Addiction will provide a unique opportunity to develop multiple strategies on technology addiction. We are honoured to invite all scientists, researchers, educators, and relevant institutions and organizations to the 4th International Congress of Technology Addiction to be held on 27-28 November 2017 in Istanbul.
